Eating clean is the name of the game. Not only is it good for our health, it also serves to protect our planet, ensuring a better future for the next generation. Here is a list of fresh food delivery services that also focus on sustainability, helping you and your family eat healthy and mindfully.

Zero to landfill

Residents of the Mowbray and Rosebank communities have come together to improve recycling and contribute towards alleviating poverty. In collaboration with the Community Organisation Resource Centre (CORC), they have come up with an urban farming initiative to support 43 farming hubs in the country. All organic (kitchen and garden) waste is collected and made into compost for farms in the Western Cape. They also collect e-waste (electronic and electrical equipment), batteries, light bulbs and ‘non-recyclable’ plastic which normally ends up in landfills. Their online store offers sustainably grown produce. Stock up on curly kale, celery, leeks, lettuce, parsley, spinach,  spring onion, broccoli and red lettuce. Since the focus of Zero-to-Landfill is sustainability and eco-friendliness, utilize bicycles and e-bikes for delivery,  reducing their carbon footprint. They deliver in the Mowbray and Rosebank areas and also to local venues, select markets, and partnered local restaurants.

Simply Fresh Foods

Choose between the 10 or 20-day meal option. All orders come with low-carb, low GI and vegetarian options.
