It’s amazing what you can do with a simple piece of fabric. Here are some decor ideas that won’t break the bank.
Here are six creative ways to use fabric offcuts:
1. Drawers
Line the inside of drawers with a pretty fabric and be pleasantly surprised each time you open them.

2. Headboard
If you want the look of an upholstered headboard without the custom price tag, why not make your own? For a step-by-step guide on upholstering a headboard click HERE
3. Lampshade
Lampshades don’t have to be plain. Use patterned fabrics to give them a fresh feel or to match them to the rest of your decor.

4. Stool
This is one of my favourites – updating an old stool with fabric. For a step-by-step guide on upholstering a chair click HERE
5. Wall art

Blank walls making your home look empty? Nothing a few metres of fabric can’t fix. Simply wrap fabric around a shoe box, a plank or a canvas. You can also paste some inside an old drawer and hang that on the wall – your options are endless.
6. Bookshelf backing
