Step-by-step guide

Step 1

With your ready-made wreath cutout wood. The first step of creating your wreath is trimming the floral stems so you are left with just the top parts of the flowers. You just only need them to be long enough to stick through the wreath. Choose flowers that are bright and bold to match the summer season.

Step 2

Once you have the first step sorted, start placing your flowers on your wreath. You can do flowers around the entire wreath; it depends on how you want it to look. You can accessorise the wreath with letters like welcome or hello. To make sure your wreath is stable, the flower stems should go completely through the wreath to keep them from falling. You can use a glue gun to keep them in place to ensure a more secure placement.

Step 3

Using your wire, tighten up what needs tightening around your wreath. Reel the wire around to keep everything in place, especially the faux flowers so they don’t fall out of place.

Step 4

After everything has been tightened and glued down. It is finally time to attach your wreath to your front door. With a safe hook, clip your wreath with the back part. You can even use ribbons to add length when hanging your wreath, just pop a hook on the door. With that done, stand back and enjoy your artist-worthy work.

Using faux flowers is a great option as they are long-lasting, however, real flowers can also suffice.
