The benefits of herbal teas are widely known and well researched, so we’re sure that we don’t have to convince you of why you should be drinking more of them. For those of us who love tea, here is a list of some of the best herbs to grow to make your own brew.
Mint
Mint tea is great for waking you up in the morning, and can also be used to alleviate nausea and stomach cramps. Easily make this tea by brewing the leaves of your mint plant.
Lavender
Brew the purple lavender buds in water for a delicious and fragrant tea. Lavender is great for instilling calm and can help you to have a great night’s sleep.
Rosemary
Make rosemary tea by boiling the leaves, and reap all the incredible benefits of the plant. Rosemary has been shown to improve cognitive function, is anti-inflammatory and contains many important anti-oxidants.
Chamomile
Chamomile tea has a uniquely floral flavour, and many people swear by it when they can’t sleep. It is also good for digestion and has anti-inflammatory properties that could help with allergies. Prepare chamomile tea by brewing the white flowers.
Lemon verbena
