Decorated in shades of brown and cream this main bedroom was dull and dreary and the beautiful bay window wasn’t making the statement it should have. Sarah Reynolds and Chantelle Moss of Urban Lace were called in to help transform it into a relaxing and happy space.
HOW THIS SPACE WENT FROM DULL TO CHEERFUL
“We chose a bright, contemporary floral fabric for the headboard as the starting point,” says Sarah. A custom-made ottoman with storage space inside adds an extra shot of colour at the end of the bed.
The curtains were replaced with blinds as these are less intrusive, and the new chaise longue positioned in the bay window is now the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the view of the garden. As a finishing touch, Sarah and Chantelle added a quirky, eye-catching crocheted pendant light fitting.
