There are many ways to give your home a spa-like fragrance, among them is turning your citrus into naturally scented candles.
Which is the easiest and most therapeutic way of carving a citrus fruit to make a candle from its peel? When cut in the middle, citrus fruits can be turned into an aromatic fragrance for your home. The peel of citrus fruits like lime, lemon, oranges, and grapefruit has volatile oil glands in pits.
The fleshy interior is composed of separate sections, called carpels, filled with fluid-filled vesicles that are specialized hair cells. These characteristics of citrus fruits make them well-suited for natural fragrance, perfumes, and essential oils. Therefore, unique and naturally scented candles can be easily and conveniently made by carving a citrus fruit of your choice and repurposing your citrus peels.
