Chinese money plant

One of the most beloved houseplants that stands out from the rest. Uniquely attractive with its green saucer-shaped leaves that seem to float around the plant. These plants are delicate and can snap easily. Although good for your cats, keep the plants away from them to maintain the aesthetic of this delightful plant.

They’re safe around your cat, when your cat does take a nibble your cat will be perfectly fine as the plants have non-toxic properties.

Baby rubber plants

This tough, evergreen plant with glossy, thick leaves is highly adaptable. It can happily be placed in bright indirect light. Due to its semi-succulent nature, rubber plants do not require too much watering.

Rubber plants are perfect around cats as they don’t have dangly bits to play with and aren’t tasty to bite into. This helps deter your cats away from them.

Hoya plants

Hoya plants are wonderful houseplants to have. They are easy to grow and come in many varieties with different leaf shapes and patterns. Most plant owners love them for their vining habits and the scented blooms that they produce. These vines can become a problem as cats may play with them.

However, Hoya plants produce latex, a white sticky substance when cut or torn, from both their leaves and their stems. Due to this, it can become an irritant for your cats. Luckily, this irritant does very little harm to them.
