What do you get when you cross the modular genius of IKEA and the exceptional talent the African continent has to offer? OVERALLT, the brand new limited edition range that will be hitting IKEA stores this May. It is a collection of furniture and lifestyle pieces that will launch at Design Indaba Cape Town on 27 February 2019.

IKEA X AFRICAN DESIGN X OVERALLT COLLECTION

Intrigued by contemporary African design, five designers from IKEA teamed up with 10 architects, designers, artists and creatives from our continent to collaborate on a range that explores modern urban rituals and their importance. These rituals include socialising around food, indoor and outdoor living, identity expression and sustainability.

The collection includes tableware, furniture, textiles, and a sustainable tote bag. You can view the collection and meet some of the designers at Design Indaba, 27 February to 1 March 2019.
