This month Le Creuset hosted 400 guests at a Cuppa For CANSA fundraiser at The Polo Room, Inanda Club in Sandton, Jo’burg. With By Word of Mouth catering the affair, it was a grand event that raised a whopping R79 085.
Breast cancer, or any other cancer for that matter, certainly isn’t something to celebrate, but being able to do something about it, is. October has been declared Breast Cancer Month worldwide, prompting a host of tea parties and other events to encourage awareness and to provide support for sufferers of the disease.
In Britain ‘a nice cup of tea’ is the solution to just about any calamity. An invitation to tea is usually a social occasion promoting companionship where the best china is used and the eats are elegant and plentiful – this event was no exception.
